Join us for the Grand Strand's first-ever mega-pet-adoption event, Furricane Party, on August 17-18 from 10am to 6pm at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. The event will feature 300 cats and dogs available for adoption from 12 local animal shelters and rescue groups.
This event is sponsored by Petco Foundation, and hosted by Saint Frances Animal Center, Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach, Grand Strand Humane Society, and Horry County Animal Care Center. In addition to those shelter, local animal rescue groups All 4 Paws; Whiskers Animal Rescue and Sanctuary; and Williamsburg County Animal Care and Control will feature their adoptable animals. Joining the shelters will be local vendors offering pet-friendly wares.
