By NO means is this your typical, weekly variety though. It’s a lot better. In my opinion, anyway.
Xtreme Music Bingo (or as we like to call it Jukebox Bingo – less of a mouthful) is more of a bingo/trivia mashup. With music.
Let me explain a bit more…
At R’Way, we break the game down into 4 rounds. Each round corresponds with a certain category of music, which is picked before that night.
Sometimes, the rounds vary by decade or genre. Other times, I’ll dedicate the night to one type of music. Every now and then, we’ll switch it up with specialty music or music trivia.
During these rounds, instead of an announcer pulling and calling numbers from a spinning cage, I “spin” tunes.
My setup!
For example, say the first round is Modern Pop.
I’ll start a playlist that matches that category, and short clips of Modern Pop songs will pump through the speakers.
The snippets are played back-to-back, with each bit lasting 30-60 seconds.
Each round lasts around 30 minutes. Give or take.
During those precious seconds, you have to figure out the name of the song.

You can talk with your friends and family. You can use your phone too, if you want.
I always like to encourage interaction with others, or using your brain, but phones ARE allowed.
Most people use Shazam, and I’ve got to say it IS a pretty nifty app.
Once you’ve identified the song, look for it on the card we provide you.
Now, in a regular game of bingo, your card would be filled with squares containing numbers.
For this, they’re packed with boxes displaying song titles!

From there it’s EASY!
If you have the song, mark it out. If you don’t… Sing along. Dance. Reminisce. Eat and drink and be merry!
After all, this is about HAVING FUN. Winning is just a plus.
So, the first person to get 5 in a row (up/down, across, or diagonal) wins! That round at least.
The 4th round works a little differently, but I’ll save that for when you come out!
Every winner receives a goodie of some sort. One of the bigger prizes includes a gift certificate to R’Way!

Most of the time, and ask anyone who goes because they can testify this is TRUE, you’ll even see me “dancing” (aka tapping my foot, bopping my head, shaking my shoulders) and singing (horribly) along to the songs.
I just love it.
The game. The music. The customers. The staff. The food and drinks.

Their food’s THE BEST. Everyone loves the pizza, myself included. Their sandwiches, wings, burgers – okay, pretty much anything on the menu – are da bomb too.
