…with Banana Pudding Shots!!!
If you haven’t heard by now, I share a refreshing drink recipe at 2:15 every Friday on the air and on the EASY Facebook page!
We like to call it “Chelsey Rene’s Refresher.”
It’s to help wrap up the workweek and kick off the weekend. To relax you. To refresh you. To change up your routine with some fun.
Sometimes it’s recipes that people have shared with me. Other times, it’s beverages that I’ve had at bars, restaurants or events.
More often than not though, it’s posts that I stumble across on the internet. Facebook. Pinterest. You get the gist.
I try to find refreshments that are interesting, delicious and EASY though. Ones I’d want to try and others would want to as well!
Not too long ago, I stumbled across the Banana Pudding Shot recipe. Immediately, I knew I had to 1) share it and 2) try it! Especially since I made those Pumpkin Pie Pudding Shots a while back, and they were a HUGE SUCCESS!
So, when a couple of my friends and I were getting together for a little soiree recently, I knew this would be the perfect chance to make the Banana Pudding Shots. Especially since we were all supposed to bring a side.
Since I’m not much of a cook, I thought it was perfect. Plus… with these? It’s all in one! A dessert (aka side) AND a drink (which we were also supposed to bring) in a to-go container perfect for ONE serving.
…to be honest though, you’ll want to come back for more…
And let me just say, I may not be able to do many things, like make awesome mixed drinks (I always seem to be a little heavy handed), but MAN can I make some shots! Just go ahead and call me the Shot Master!
They’re so simple to make that you could put them together too! And they REALLY DO taste like banana pudding!
I got the original recipe from Delish! However, it only made 12, and it called for different shot glasses.
Since I needed to transport mine, and double the recipe, I modified the ingredients.
This recipe will make around 24 if you’re using the disposable condiment cups with lids. Which I highly recommend!
Below you’ll find exactly what you need and how to put them together.
Banana Pudding Shots
Ingredients:
- 3.4 oz. packages (4) instant vanilla pudding
- 2 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. white/silver rum
- 1 banana, chopped
- 1 c. crushed Nilla Wafers
- Cool Whip, for garnish
- Disposable condiment cups w/ lids
Directions:
Be sure to not fill the cups up too high.
Otherwise, when you go to put the tops on, the shots will ooze from the sides, and you’ll have a big ‘ole mess to clean up.
When this happened to me, it also made it hard to secure the lids.
Otherwise, just enjoy 🙂
Oh, and bring some whole Nilla Wafers to the party too! People can either use their fingers, or the wafers, to scoop out the shot!
